About the prize

Reporting Europe Prize Ceremony 2010The Prize, which is worth £500, honours excellence in reporting on the European Union in the English-speaking media during the previous year. It is awarded to a single piece of work (or a series of pieces) that excels in stimulating critical debate on European integration. Entries from single and multiple authors are accepted.

How it works?

Nominations are invited from October 2011 and run up until 2 March 2012. A shortlist will then be drawn up by a jury made up of members of the press/broadcast community along with UACES members. The winner of the prize will be announced at an award ceremony in London on 24 May 2012. To register for the ceremony email admin[at]reportingeurope.eu.

Who is UACES?

UACES is the world’s largest European Studies association. The Association brings together academics and practitioners and provides an independent forum for informed debate and discussion of European affairs. It is directly involved in promoting research and teaching in European Studies.  The prize is our chance to recognise the quality journalism that assists our members with this work.
