Winner Announced

Congratulations to Gail Champion (BBC) and Angus Stickler (The Bureau of Investigative Journalism) who have been awarded the annual UACES Thomson Reuters Reporting Europe Prize at a ceremony in London.

They won the prize for their BBC Radio 4 programme ‘File on 4: Europe’s Missing Millions’ which aired on 30 November 2010.

William Horsley, member of the jury and chair of the Association of European Journalists commented:

“The jury praised the in-depth research which made the programme’s revelations credible, and the outstanding skill and professionalism with which it laid bare stories of deception and abuse in Sicily and elsewhere.”
